<p>Creating complex user experiences and human-machine interfaces is a significant challenge today. <p>The concepts manipulated by BOWL® are <strong>agnostic from the application domain</strong> you want to address. While some of functional components provided with BOWL® are Automotive oriented (vehicle simulation, Driver Monitoring System…) while most of them are suitable for any kind of application domain (audio/video management, Script reco, User manager…).</p>
<p>BOWL® is released as an <strong>on-premise app</strong> that can be installed on a Windows or Linux PC. The software is divided into BOWL® Factory (that hosts BOWL® Studio to enable users to define and test their experiences) and BOWL® Runtime (that hosts and executes the software generated by the BOWL® Factory). <h3>A Fully Integrated Prototype Example</h3>
<p>Soft-In and Epicnpoc recently collaborated to provide an Automotive Smart Cockpit demonstrator to a major German Tier 1 supplier. This proof of concept showcases a hypervisor platform running both Linux and Android on various hardware, including a PC, a Raspberry Pi, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. Its modular architecture supports eight different GUIs, including e-mirrors, pillar-to-pillar displays, HUDs, cluster displays, passenger displays, and rear-seat displays. Additionally, the demonstrator features LED lighting, five audio zones, and a digital twin of the cockpit for virtual scene simulation.</p>
